Who we are
FLISS (Female Leaders in STEM Subjects) is a UK-based mentoring charity founded in 2023. It aims to empower women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields by providing free high-quality mentoring. FLISS focuses on women at the start of their careers or returning after a break, addressing pivotal career points where gender imbalance, bias and barriers are most prevalent. Through personalised mentoring, FLISS supports women in overcoming these challenges, fostering an inclusive environment where they can thrive and contribute to the advancement of STEM fields.
